About Ocean Puerto

An independent boutique agency in Puerto Escondido. We only take the best properties, mostly under exclusive mandate, and we advise buyers in English, Spanish and French.

Only the best listings

We say no to most of the properties we are offered. A listing joins our selection when its price holds up against recent comparable sales, its legal status is clear on paper, and its location is one we would recommend to a friend. Most are exclusive to us: buyers get first-hand information, one consistent price, and pay no commission. All commissions are included in the price.

More than a broker

Brokerage is our core business, and we follow our clients beyond the purchase: legal and administrative support with independent lawyers and notaries, construction projects with architects and builders we have vetted, and turnkey rental and property management for houses and condos.

From OSAN Puerto to Ocean Puerto

Ocean Puerto Real Estate was founded by Antoine Volatier, who co-founded OSAN Puerto Real Estate and has advised buyers and sellers in Puerto Escondido since 2019. It is the continuation of that work and its evolution: the same advisor and network, with a service built to serve our clients better.

Puerto Escondido and its coast, up to Agua Blanca: 21 neighborhoods we know street by street, from La Punta Zicatela and Rinconada to Barra de Colotepec and Santa Elena.

Antoine Volatier

French, trained in finance at NEOMA Business School and then in financial audit at EY, Antoine Volatier moved to Puerto Escondido in 2019 and never left. He co-founded OSAN Puerto Real Estate, closed more than 100 transactions, and founded Ocean Puerto to take that service further.

    We select the properties

    Price checked against recent comparable sales, legal status clear on paper, a location we would recommend to a friend.

    We vet the developers

    Who builds, what they have already delivered, where they come from and the title of the land, before we represent a pre-sale.

  3. 03

    We work at a distance when needed

    Video visits, independent notaries and lawyers, electronic signature: several of our clients have bought without travelling before the deed.

  4. 04

    We open doors that are not online

    Part of what we sell is off-market, and our network brings properties that are never published.

Antoine Volatier is a member of the US National Association of REALTORS® and holds its CIPS® designation (Certified International Property Specialist). In Mexico he is a member of AMPI, the Mexican association of real estate professionals, and completed the UNAM–AMPI real estate diploma. In Europe, he holds a certificate in Real Estate Economics and Finance from the London School of Economics. We keep training every year, because the rules on land, taxes and foreign ownership keep changing.
